Kylie Cosmetics is launching it’s Kylie x Balmain collection today.

The collection is available beginning at 8 am PST on Friday September 27, and it includes the Paris matte lip kit; Model Behavior High Gloss; and the Balmain ‘kyshadow’ palette — shown in the video below. ⠀

Kylie Jenner is wearing the collection is the photo, above right. She posted on Twitter: “I’m wearing our eyeshadow palette, lip liner, and lip gloss. It’s been a dream come true to collaborate with you @ORousteing!”

Reports say Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing is a “longtime friend of the Kardashian clan,” and that the duo decided to collaborate after Jenner wore this pink pantsuit to the 2019 Grammy Awards — and it was an “internet-breaking look.” The collection’s cartons are pastel-pink. 

Rousteing said, according to CR Fashion Book, “We both loved the possibilities of that unique mixture—combining Kylie’s exciting pop culture and LA spirit with Balmain’s Parisian heritage and my vision of a new type of couture, designed for the woman of today.”

When the collaboration was announced on September 24, the fashion house said in a press release that Jenner is its new “artistic director of makeup” for the Balmain Spring/Summer 2020 runway show (available online as a live-stream), which took place today in Paris. However, Jenner tweeted on Wednesday that she wouldn’t be at the show because she was too sick to travel.

Jenner still created the makeup looks for the models — and tweeted: “Creating this collection with Olivier has been a dream. Of course this collection isn’t just for the runway..I created this so that you can have a piece of this once in a lifetime event. I’m SO proud of this collection and of Olivier, and our friendship, vision and creativity really comes across in the products we created…”

Jenner stated in a press release that first announced the collab: “I’ve always been a huge fan of Olivier’s work for Balmain. His designs are so unique and whenever I wear one of his pieces, I feel confident and beautiful, and that’s how I’ve always wanted my fans to feel when they wear Kylie Cosmetics.”
